Hi, it’s Shanna! For anyone who doesn’t know, I’m Dave’s fiancé.
He so graciously agreed to let me blog about a fun project we worked on this winter – back when it was actually acceptable to be this cold. Snow in April – not cool. Snow in a fun alternative to the traditional “save-the-date” – pretty neat! Winter in South Dakota is plentiful and can be so beautiful {as long as you don’t have to go outside for 5 months}, and we wanted to showcase that!
David and I collaborated with a couple of our uber-talented friends to film a video and shoot some photos for our engagement. We had a great time and love the finished product! We were SO anxious to send them out to our friends and family. You can find a glimpse of the packaging below. We had to postpone the send date by a few days because we were waiting on tape. No, that tape isn’t even sealing the back. Yes, it’s just for looks. Yes, we’re a little ridiculous, I know. But, so.worth.it. I got it here. I got the return address stamp here, and the d+s stamp here. David created all the DVD’s, and we got the pictures printed at a local print shop.
HUGE thank you to Brianne and Brent for all your help! We’re so glad you guys were there to help us out-even though I got us stuck in the snow {thanks to my dad for pulling us out!} and your feet nearly froze off.
Enjoy!
